| Driving directions from Challans: |
|
|
|
|
 When driving from Challans, heading to St Jean-de-Monts on the D753, you will drive through a small village “Le Perrier”. Approx. 3km after Le Perrier you arrive at a round about. Instead of taking the second exit, which is sign posted to St Jean de Monts, take
the third exit which is sign-posted Les Sables d’Olonne and St- Gilles-Croix-de Vie. Continue straight on until the next round about where you take the first exit. Continue to the next roundabout, here you take the second exit still heading for Les
Sables d’Olonne. Follow this road for about 2 miles and you will come to the village of Orouet. Turn right at the Oasis restaurant/hotel (half hidden just after the pottery). If you drive
out of Orouet, you have gone too far!
Drive along a winding country road, passing Camping Les Genets on your left and continuing until you reach a roundabout signposted ‘St-Hilaire de Riez/Centre Ville’ turn left here.You will pass a ‘Marché U’ supermarket on your left, as well asseveralcampsites. Camping Les Ecureuils is 0.5 mile along this road on your left-hand side. |
