| Driving directions from Auray: |
|
|
|
|
 The small town of Carnac is approx. 9 miles south west of Auray in southern Brittany. The campsite is situated 1.5 miles to the north of the town.From Auray: (If approaching from the east, do not take the first “La Trinité” exit – the D28 to Crach)
turn off the N165 on to the D768 towards “La Trinité-sur-Mer/Carnac/Quiberon”. As you leave the roundabout you will pass a “Magic Surf” shop on the right hand side. Continue along the D768 for about 4 miles until you come to a roundabout.Take the left exit sign posted “Carnac” and follow this road along until you come to a series of standing stones on your right-hand side. Turn left here following the small green and white signs to
“Camping La Grande Metairie”. Continue along the road for approx. 1 mile keeping the standing stones to your left and you will pass a campsite (“Camping Le Moulin de Kermaux”) on your right hand side. Approx. 100m further on is the turning into “La
Grande Métairie” to the right. |
