| Only a short drive from Calais and the Tunnel, a relaxing site with waterchute and swimming pool with retractable roof, ideal for a first holiday in France. La Bien Assise is set in the parklands of a graceful château, on the outskirts of the market town of Guînes. It is a member of the prestigious Castels chain and has a pleasant, peaceful atmosphere. The owners have converted the former château stables to house the shop and bar, and the restaurant’s menu really is a gourmet’s delight. There’s also a well maintained swimming pool with a retractable roof, waterchute and a popular children’s play area. Traffic from the road can sometimes be heard. |
